Formula 1
Japanese Grand Prix
Tsunoda gets to race at his home Grand Prix, and qualifies in 15th. He finished the race in 12th, which would be impressive over Lawson, except Hadjar in the junior team outperformed him anyway.
Verstappen took pole and controlled the entire race to win. The McLarens finished in formation right behind him, but the dirty air was so effective that Norris couldn't catch up. Piastri asked for team orders but was denied.
Verstappen had a slow stop which had both him and Norris exit the pits side-by-side, and Verstappen managed to spook Norris onto the grass at the pit exit.
In Free Practice, Doohan had a crash which seemed to have come from him intentionally leaving the DRS open at turn 1. The nature of the circuit is such that you can stay on throttle for turn 1, but you need to close the DRS manually - which is typically done when you hit the brakes. Doohan apparently tried to take the turn with DRS open and had a massive, scary crash but ultimately got away unscathed.
Antonelli became the youngest driver to both lead a race and to set a fastest lap. This was Antonelli's last chance to set the record for the youngest driver to set a fastest lap.
Bahrain Grand Prix
Norris got a penalty for starting from outside his grid box and ultimately finished the race just a second shy of Russell. Russell was having a whole host of electrical issues, which meant his transponder wasn't working and any DRS timing had to be done manually. He also had brake problems, GPS problems, dashboard display problems, and dashboard button problems towards the end of the race, making the fact that he finished the race a major achievement in itself, let alone defending against Norris in the final laps.
Verstappen pulled off a magnificent overtake on Gasly towards the end of the race, denying Alpine 2 extra points on their first points haul of the season.
Bearman started from the back of the grid and finished 10th.
Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
Norris crashed out in the final round of qualifying, resigning him to a 10th-place start. Verstappen started ahead of Piastri, both on the front row, but Piastri got the far better start and claimed the inside for turn 1. Verstappen then took more speed into turn 1 with a car full of fuel than he ever did during qualifying, went off-track, rejoined ahead of Piastri, and claimed to have been pushed off and that Piastri - who made the corner cleanly - had no intention of making the corner. The Stewards were not amused and handed a 5 second penalty to Verstappen. Through the first round of pit-stops, Piastri got the all-important race lead and the clear air it brings, and stayed there, and took the lead of the championship as well.
Norris, on an alternate strategy, finished 4th, when a podium wouldn't have been an unfair ask.

Miami E-Prix
The race promised to be tough on energy, and many drivers opted to leave their Attack Mode activations as late as possible. However, a safety car and a red flag late in the race meant that 5 cars did not end up using their total allotment of Attack Mode, earning 10-second penalties.
