Cricket

Bangladesh M Tour of West Indies, 2nd Test, 1st-3rd ODIs, 1st-3rd T20Is

Bangladesh won the second Test. I complained about how the result in the first Test was bittersweet, and I got my wish. Curiously, West Indies won all the ODIs and lost all the T20Is. A perfectly balanced series?

India M Tour of Australia, 2nd-4th Tests

I take back what I said about having a shot at the WTC finals. The third Test though, if only we had time...

England M Tour of New Zealand, 1st-3rd Tests

Two massive wins for England and one massive, yet consolation, win for New Zealand.

England W Tour of South Africa, 1st-3rd T20Is, 1st-3rd ODIs, Only Test

South Africa manage to take only the first ODI, and England wins the rest.

Pakistan M Tour of Zimbabwe, 1st-3rd T20Is

Two comfortable wins for Pakistan before Zimbabwe takes a low-scoring, thrilling, consolation win.

Sri Lanka M Tour of South Africa, 2nd Test

Sri Lanka put up a better fight this time but still lost by 109 runs.

India W Tour of Australia, 1st-3rd ODIs

Whitewash by Australia.

Afghanistan M Tour of Zimbabwe, 1st-3rd T20Is, 1st-3rd ODIs, 1st-2nd Tests

Afghanistan comes out with flying colours, taking some massive wins. Zimbabwe did win the first T20I, the first ODI got washed out, and the first Test ended in a draw after Afghanistan opted to bat till 699-all-out rather than go for an easy win.

Pakistan M Tour of South Africa, 1st-3rd T20Is, 1st-3rd ODIs, 1st Test

Two narrow wins for South Africa in the T20Is before rain washed the third one out. Then three wins for Pakistan in the ODIs. South Africa's tail wins the first Test in a thriller.

West Indies W Tour of India, 1st-3rd T20Is, 1st-3rd ODIs

The West Indies top order showed what they were made of in the second T20I, winning by 9 wickets. They didn't put up much of a fight in any of the other 5 matches, though.

Australia W Tour of New Zealand, 1st-3rd ODIs

Australia win by decent margins after the first match gets washed out.

Sri Lanka M Tour of New Zealand, 1st-3rd T20Is, 1st-3rd ODIs

New Zealand nearly win everything but Sri Lanka wins the final ODI. By 140 runs, at that.

Formula 1

Qatar Grand Prix

Perez seemingly spent the Sprint in data gathering mode. This data must've been useful because his teammate, who finished eighth in the Sprint behind a Haas, won the Grand Prix. Norris failed to slow for double-waved yellow flags and got a 10-second stop-and-go penalty and barely finished in the points.
A mirror from Albon's car was on the track, and was never cleared by the marshals. When Bottas ran over it, the debris gave Hamilton and Sainz punctures. Shameful by Race Control.

Ocon Out, Doohan In

Ocon was let go from Alpine early to allow him to do the end-of-season test with his future team, Haas. While many don't buy the excuse, Hamilton also will not take part in the same test with Ferrari for similar sponsorship reasons.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Perfect weekend for Norris. Hamilton's qualifying gets ruined because of another driver, and he pulls off an amazing alternate strategy drive to overtake his teammate on the final lap. The last Hammertime.

Red Bull Fire Perez, Promote Lawson, And Bring In Hadjar

We all saw Perez's firing. What we didn't see was Lawson's promotion from VCARB - Tsunoda has been performing better for longer.

Formula E

Sao Paulo E-Prix

The season begins, and Attack Mode is actually powerful! All 4 Nissan powered cars get a drivethrough penalty for overpower, but a red flag helps them stay in the mix. Two of them - the McLarens, finish 3rd and 4th, with Barnard becoming the youngest podium-sitter in Formula E. His teammate Bird was coaching him through the final stages of the race.
The race winner, Evans, started dead last, marking the first time a driver climbed up 21 positions from lights to flag.
